You can't escape the fact that customers are talking about you. No matter how big or small, someone has an opinion about your products or services. It can be perplexing to decide how to gather customer feedback when you are just starting your business or ramping up to include more social media.
A good round-up of tools for collecting customer feedback can be found in the December issue of Inc. Magazine written by Ryan Underwood. It's called Tell Us What you Really Think. He focuses on 6:
1. Yelp.com
2. Suggestionbox.com
3. Ratepoint.com
4. YackTrack.com/chatter
5. GetSatisfaction.com
6. SurveyMonkey.com
Check it out. They provide the pros and cons and pricing.
I would caution against SuggestionBox .. they offer a free month with cancel at any time, unless you want to cancel! No response from accounts, emails, or phone calls... I have a suggestion: Avoid!
